From the North/West: Take Western Kentucky Parkway to the Natcher Parkway.  Take Natcher South to Exit 26 (Morgantown).  Turn right onto Hwy 231.  Travel approximately 12 miles and turn right on Hwy 626.  Travel 2.5 miles on 626 and camp entrance will be on the right, about half a mile after crossing the bridge.

From Bowling Green: Take Hwy 231 for six miles past the Natcher Parkway.  Turn left on Hwy 626, travel 2.5 miles and camp entrance will be on the right.

From the South: Take I 65 to Exit 20B-Natcher Parkway.  Take Natcher Parkway North to Exit 7 (US-231).  Turn right onto Hwy 231 and travel 6 miles.  Turn left onto Hwy 626, travel 2.5 miles and camp entrance will be on the right, about half a mile after crossing the bridge.

From the North:  Take I 65 south to exit 20B-Natcher Parkway.  Take Natcher Parkway North to Exit 7 (US-231).  Turn right onto Hwy 231 and travel 6 miles.  Turn left onto Hwy 626, travel 2.5 miles and camp entrance will be on the right, about half a mile after crossing the bridge.

From the West:  Take Hwy 68/80 to Natcher Parkway.  Take Natcher Parkway north to Exit 7 (US-231).  Turn right onto Hwy 231 and drive 6 miles.  Turn left onto Hwy 626, travel 2.5 miles and camp entrance will be on the right, about half a mile after crossing the bridge.

 

Meet our staff

BEN WARRELL, DIRECTOR

I have been the director at Gasper River Catholic Youth Camp & Retreat Center since the start.  I was born in Tampa, grew up in Indianapolis and went to high school in Elizabethtown.  I graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a degree in Outdoor Recreation with an emphasis on Parks and Recreation Administration.  I have over 20 years of Christian Camp experience.  I live at Gasper River with my wife and son.  I am very passionate about this ministry because my camp experience changed my life and I want that opportunity for other young people!

CRYSTAL COLEMAN, OFFICE MANAGER AND REGISTRAR 

I’ve been a part of The Gasper River family since October 2014.  I started here in the kitchen and cleaning crew. Since August of 2015, I have been working as Camp Registrar and continue to help in other areas as well.

 I am part of the Holy Trinity Parish in Morgantown with my husband and two children.  I am so blessed to be a part of this ministry, and I’m happy to be a part of the Gasper Family!

OLIVIA ROMERO, PROGRAM DIRECTOR

I started coming to Gasper River as a camper in 2011. Since then I have been a counselor, staff member, and now the Program Director. I am originally from Paducah, KY and attended St. Mary High School. I received my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education with an Associates degree in Spanish from Thomas More University. 

I am a parishioner at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Bowling Green. My time at Gasper River truly changed my life. I have seen firsthand the amazing work God does here and am blessed to be a part of this ministry.
